

Results And Highlights From Norfolk Steel Tournament:
GAME #1: Columbus Outlaws 9-6 Win.....
Broc Cramer was 2-2 with two runs scored, two RBIs and pitched two innings striking out four and walking one
Miles Nelson pitched 1 2/3 innings striking out two straight Outlaws with the bases loaded in the third inning. He finished with four strikeouts. Gavin Ruether, Will Anderson and Caejon Suttles each added singles.
GAME #2: Norfolk Steel Grey 12-0 Win.....
Ian Arends, Camden Walker and Miles Nelson each had two hits. Ian also scored three runs and had a double. Camden scored two runs, had two RBIs and had an inside the park home run. Miles and Caejon Suttles each added doubles. As a team, the boys only struck out twice. Will Anderson, Caejon Suttles and Beau Paro each added singles while Isiah Wyatt scored two runs. Camden, Will Anderson and Caejon Suttles combined to allow only two hits and NO walks while striking out nine.
GAME #3: Norfolk Steel Blue 11-0 Loss.....
Ian Arends had our lone hit and Camden Walker struck out seven.
Game 4 Columbus Outlaws 7-3 Win....
Will Anderson had a triple and scored a run. Ian Arends had two hits including a double and had two RBIs. Gavin Ruether made a nice jumping catch with runners on second and third. Ian pitched 4 1/3 innings allowing three runs, striking out six and giving up two hits.
As a team we finished with a 3-1 record finishing third. We improved in many areas but still have a ways to go. Keep working hard and believe in yourselves.

Congratulations to Ian Arends, Camden Walker and Miles Nelson for being selected to the Norfolk Steel All Tournament Team for the 9U division. Way to go boys, we had many other deserving players. Keep working hard and keeping your fingers crossed that the rains stays away.

Camden Walker: Had four hits (one home run), four runs scored, two RBIs, four innings pitched and striking out ten.

Miles Nelson: Collected two hits (one double), two runs scored, two RBIs, pitched 2 2/3 innings while striking out five.
